About Roza Parks

Hailing from Peer, Belgium, the four-piece rock unit Roza Parks began in the early 2010s, taking hints for their sound from gloomy goth rock legacies like Joy Division, as well as employing shoegaze guitar tones. Still going under the somewhat slippery moniker Rosa Parks' Own Private Bus Seat, they released a self-titled EP in 2011 before shortening their name to Roza Parks. The band then started work on their debut full-length album, Eleven Is Nine, working intensively with Triggerfinger drummer Mario Goossens, who served as the producer. The album was released in April of 2013.
