About The Semi-Supervillains

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first music festival I attended with my brother and father was ProgFest 2008 in Philly. After we saw Crack the Sky perform we were invited with hang out with the band, and I got to meet Alan White (Plastic Ono Band, Yes) backstage! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? AC/DC, High Voltage Crack the Sky, Crack the Sky Jet, Get Born These are three albums that infulenced me the most between the ages of 10-14. I credit them to being the reason I became rocker. My first guitar was a Gibson Sg like Angus Young. Rick Witkowski from Crack the Sky taught me how to play that SG. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Living Stereo” We wrote this song originally as an instrumental for the popular YouTube channel Diesel Creek. Some many listeners enjoyed it that we decided to write lyrics for it and make a Quaaludes inspired music video. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing SXSW was really awesome. Also filming a music video for our song Joyride was pretty awesome. We got to drive a 100,000 sports car around a racecar stadium in Nashville under the lights. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We want to tour the world while have a successful career releasing a new album every 2 years. Touring Australia has always been a bucket list item for us. Our favorite bands are JET, the Easy Beats and AC/DC so we always wanted to head down under.
