The solo project of Staten Island singer/songwriter Paul Schalda, Paul & the Tall Trees offer an appealing mix of warm soul, rustic Americana, and lightly psychedelic rock. With nearly two decades as a working musician under his belt before launching the project, he made his Paul & the Tall Trees debut in 2016 with Our Love in the Light. A sophomore set, So Long, appeared in 2019, followed two years later by the I Understand EP.
