A punishing American hardcore unit based out of Long Island, New York, Backtrack employ a lethal mix of classic N.Y.C. punk and hard-hitting metal that invokes names like Madball, Kill Your Idols, and Raw Deal. Formed in 2013, the band issued a well-received demo and EP before dropping their full-length debut, Darker Half, via Reaper Records the same year. A flurry of festival appearances and globe-trotting tours followed, with the group playing alongside fellow decibel-pushers like Comeback Kid, Terror, and Cold World. In 2014, they inked a deal with Bridge 9 Records and released their sophomore long-player, Lost in life, followed by Bad to My World in 2017. ~ James Christopher Monger
