In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Since 2004 we wanted to be an instrumental band mixing jazz, rock, psychedelia, and scratching with the mariachi tradition. In 2018 we recorded our Tiny Desk Concert. We get inspiration from Mexico to create a sublime musical style. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? BADBADNOTGOOD, IV King Crimson, In the Court of the Crimson King (Expanded Edition) Miles Davis, Bitches Brew Records that challenged the status quo and gave jazz endless possibilities. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chapala Blues” This piece was sketched on the ceiling, looking at the stars, with Lake Chapala as a witness. Blues, mariachi, atmospheric segments, and progressive music bring this Troker anthem to life. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Been invited to perform for two consecutive years at the West Holts stage in the Glastonbury Festival, recording our Tiny Desk Concert, and been able to keep doing music after 19 years!
