Grant Livingston

About Grant Livingston

Grant Livingston, guitarist, singer, and songwriter, uses his country-blues music to please fans of all ages, from those just learning to walk, to those still trying to walk. His songs often show off his story telling skills. Many times the lyrics offer information on either the environment, or on some of the history from his native home, Florida. He also does a few tunes from way back when, around 1900. Livingston released a couple of albums in the early '80s that are unfortunately no longer available. A third album, Florida Rain, was recorded in 1988. There was a huge gap of nearly a whole decade before the next album was released, The One that Got Away. It was followed In 2001 by Let Me off the Leash. "Life on the Freeway," "Pointy Side Up," "Don't Bother Jack," "Martha Knows," "Pack Light," "Mister Moon," and "Two of Hearts" are just a few of the songs showcased on Livingston's works. All are enjoyable, and many are humorous. When not recording or writing new songs, Grant Livingston entertains at festivals and coffeehouses. ~ Charlotte Dillon
