A Swedish heavy metal/post-grunge outfit that draws inspiration from bands like Machine Head, Black Sabbath, and Disturbed, Corroded hit the commercial jackpot in 2009 when their single "Time and Again" was chosen as the theme song for season 10 of Expedition Robinson (Sweden's version of the reality television series Survivor). Founded in 2004, the band's debut long-player, 2009's Eleven Shades of Black, topped the charts on the strength of the aforementioned "Time and Again." Their sophomore effort, 2010's Exit to Transfer, reached number six on the Swedish national record chart, and featured the single "Age to Rage," which was used as the theme for EA Games Battlefield Play4Free. The band's third long-player, State of Disgrace, arrived in 2013, followed by Defcon Zero in 2017, the latter of which was released via Despotz Records. ~ James Christopher Monger
