A road trip to Walt Disney World listening to my parent's cassette tapes of Luther Vandross, Frankie Beverly & MAZE, Bobby Blue Bland and Anita Baker, then listening to a white label cassette called "The Slim Shady EP" when they let my brother drive. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Portishead, Dummy Quasimoto, The Unseen Bonus Track Version The Unseen because Madlib is masterful as producer and character rapper throughout, Voodoo because D'Angelo channeled something divine, and Dummy because the a sonics twist like a baroque sculpture and Beth Gibbon's voice is hauntingly masterful.
