About The Levins

New York-based duo the Levins make melodic, vocal harmony-based acoustic folk that touches upon everything from '30s standards to retro sunshine pop to traditional Jewish music. Featuring the talents of singer/songwriters Ira and Julia Levin, the duo originally met at an open-mike night in Berkeley, California in 2000. Married and performing since 2002, they have released a handful of albums including 36 (2008), Barely Contained (2010), Cereal Days (2012), Raise Your Glass to Charles Dickens (2012), and My Friend Hafiz (2013). In 2015, the Levins released their sixth full-length album, Trust. ~ Matt Collar
