The Levins

New York-based duo the Levins make melodic, vocal harmony-based acoustic folk that touches upon everything from '30s standards to retro sunshine pop to traditional Jewish music. Featuring the talents of singer/songwriters Ira and Julia Levin, the duo originally met at an open-mike night in Berkeley, California in 2000. Married and performing since 2002, they have released a handful of albums including 36 (2008), Barely Contained (2010), Cereal Days (2012), Raise Your Glass to Charles Dickens (2012), and My Friend Hafiz (2013).
