In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. There was a Boyzone tape that we kept in the car we listened to a lot on family trips and I could sing along every word. There's a cover on it of Cat Stevens' 'Father and Son' that remains one of my favorite songs of all time. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, Bon Iver Phoenix, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix The National, High Violet Bonus Track Version Phoenix showed me the possibility of making a moving, mature, well-rounded album that is incredibly fun and pop at the same time. One of the few albums that has no 'skip track' on it. As brilliant and fresh now as the first time I heard it in 2009. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A memorable moment was playing Best Kept Secret festival in 2017. Everything was just magical. From the camera crew following us to the stage to the massive tent packed to the gills with fans to the show itself - it couldn't have been better. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Many, many things. Aside from writing and producing the 'best' song I have in me, there are more concrete bucket list items like playing Primavera or Pitchfork Festival, going on a world tour, or selling out a beautiful historic venue. I could go on.
