A widely admired group that works with the Folk Music Institute, Tallari's instrumental lineup is almost as diverse as its repertoire. Not only do they play the ubiquitous fiddle and kantele, but also such ancient instruments as the jouhikko (three-stringed lyre) and the birch bark.
