In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a child I looked forward to the rolling blackouts in Cuba. My family would always come together in a song. Those were my first music lessons, I learned how to harmonize and perform for all of our neighbors. Daymé Arocena, Cubafonía Erykah Badu, Mama's Gun Kovacs, Shades of Black They are great albums tho very different from eachother, they they all have one thing in common, they are inspiring and innovative. I will never forget being part of Canadian Idol Vocal competition. I was very younge and I learned alot about work ethic, how to continue being creative and the importance of keeping my artist identity even when under pressure.
