In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Before the age 3 I was banging broken chords on a fisher price guitar. Nothing brings me back like dancing in the kitchen to Stevie Wonder as my Grandpa swung jazz melodies into the air on our old upright piano and I played along out of key. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Bowie, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (2012 Remaster) Frank Ocean, Blonde Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life I was 14, smoking a joint at 4 in the morning and watching the sunrise over Georgian bay, as I listened to Ziggy stardust for the first time. Tell us why you chose this song. “4045” 4045 is based on the concept that the memories we share with the people we love last beyond time - even after our days are up, the energy of these moments will survive beyond the year 4045. I wrote this song on my first solo trip to Costa Rica. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far was playing at the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto. To be so young, playing on that size of a stage felt surreal.
