In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At the start of this project, through improvisation and experimentation, our sound started to emerge. We then polished the soundscapes and textures laying the groundwork for our debut album. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pink Floyd, Animals Portico Quartet, Knee-Deep In the North Sea Yussef Dayes, Black Classical Music Having band members from different countries, we all have different musical and cultural influences. Tell us why you chose this song. “The First Utopian” The First Utopian is a great example of our sound and our approach to structuring a track. It starts from a gentle passage and takes us on a journey through dissonant galaxies to reach sonic utopia. A trully exhilarating piece to play live. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Our album launch for Hominid was a fantastic gig, full of great memories. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We are yet to play a show in interstellar space once we ticked off a first international tour for a start.
