DJ Electric Indigo has played a valuable role in the dance music communities of Germany and Vienna since the early '90s, having spent time as an employee at Berlin's Hardwax shop in addition to establishing Female Pressure, an organization set up for the interaction and promotion of females involved as DJs, producers, and otherwise. A number of her own productions were scattered throughout the late '90s and early 2000s for labels like Disko B and Mental Groove.
