My first performance in front of a couple hundred people was at 4 years old, in church with my mom playing piano for me In the instrumental break before the big finish I did a spin on stage. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Arctic Monkeys, AM Sondre Lerche, Please The Swell Season, Strict Joy Please challenged me to listen in new ways and to allow songwriters to evolve. Strict Joy feels specifically made for us; it's the soundtrack to our early music days. And AM - an album that is so cohesive and yet every song is a single? Wild. Tell us why you chose this song. “Shadows” This song is about those things that we thought we've conquered coming up again to haunt us - they're hiding in the corners and the shadows. We love the production and movement of the song, capturing the feeling of always looking over your shoulder. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Early on we were asked to open for a well known band at their sold out all-ages show. For many in the room, it was their first concert, and the magic was palpable. Years later, we're still in contact with some of the fans we met that night. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is so much left we want to accomplish! That’s the thing about music - it’s not a destination, it’s a lifestyle and a life partner in a way. But this next year we’re releasing our first full length on vinyl, and we’re really excited about that.
