In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Around the age of 10 I began learning trumpet at my local music school after hearing the legendary South African trumpet player "Hugh Masekela" perform. This inspired my musical journey and started my career. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Erykah Badu, Mama's Gun Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Wizkid, Ayo These are some of my favourite albums but my favourite artists. These albums so well put together and tell a story with their music. They are all very different and inspire my in many different ways Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Standing Here” This song is very special because it is my debut release as an artist and I feel like this song encapsulates my sound. The sound of jazz meeting other genres I love such as hip hop, afrobeat, and RnB is what I'm trying to portray. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was performing to a fully packed tent at Love Supreme Festival 2022. It was such a memorable performance, the biggest audience I had performed to but the feeling of my music being received so well by all those people. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are many things on my list as an artist, I would love to release more music and more albums. I would also love to do a tour of Europe and I'm excited to do more headline shows. I would love to perform at more festivals around the world
