About Bradley Banning

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Evenings were different at my house growing up. My dad and I would sit in his office playing through his entire music collection and his own songwriting catalog, studying songs. My dad is the reason I write songs and make country music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bobby Pinson, Man Like Me Eric Church, Chief OneRepublic, Native Eric Church, Bobby Pinson, and OneRepublic are stylistically different, but each of these artists are master songwriters. The songwriting and production on these albums knocked it out of the park. I have a memory and emotion connected to each album. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Room 252” My grandfather passed away in ICU Room 252. This song is the 100% true story of me asking out his ICU nurse, who I thought I was going to marry. In retrospect, that nurse and this song helped me move through the grieving process of his passing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hearing your song on radio never gets old. It's even better when it's a song you wrote with your dad. "Don't Mess With Texas" was my single released and it ended up receiving major radio airplay, that spurred my music career and my dad's songwriting. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The "World's Largest Honkytonk", Billy Bob's is in Fort Worth, TX. I'm gunning for that main stage. Headlining a show there and at Red Rocks in my wife's home state is top of the bucket list. A #1 song written with my dad would be the cherry on top!
