In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I must have been tiny, but I clearly recall singing with my family at christmas time at our grandparent's farm - my mother leading the song on her guitar, her sisters singing in harmony, and all of us cousins picking a part to sing along What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dusty Springfield, Dusty... Definitely Remastered The Beatles, Rubber Soul Various Artists, Harry Nilsson' the Point (The Mermaid Theater's Production Original Cast Recording / 1977) With harmony, mythical storytelling, edge and imagination, these are three albums that I return to again and again to remind myself of songs like I've Just Seen a Face, I Think It's Gonna Rain Today, Me and My Arrow and more Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Every Day is a Dance” It started as a poem, a reminder for myself to keep on the bright side on gray days, and then one day I picked up my guitar and found a tune for it when I was thinking of songs for a kindy show, and it felt like hope and wishes and sunshine. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning the APRA Children's Song of the Year award for Lullaby Time, with the surprise of a choir of children performing the song in the Christchurch Town Hall. It gave me goosebumps, and felt so delightful to hear a tune I wrote sung back to me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have so many wishes on my musical bucket list! Getting to perform live with my cowriters after years of virtual collaborations, levelling up my production skills, getting to meet some of my musical heroes, writing my next best song!
