Slow Hollows

Slow Hollows is the smart, constantly evolving indie rock project of Los Angeles musician Austin Anderson, who managed to produce several high-profile releases in the mid-2010s while still in high school. Between the biting, lo-fi garage punk of his early work to the more introspective new wave tone of 2016's Romantic, Anderson showed an aptitude for quickly absorbing and adapting various facets of pop music from release to release. Throughout its initial phase, Slow Hollows primarily operated as a band, but in 2024, Anderson relaunched it as his solo project with Bullhead, his most introspective and subtle album yet.
