Acerca de Filter

Luego de tocar con Nine Inch Nails entre 1989 y 1992, el guitarrista Richard Patrick se marchó a Los Ángeles para dar formar su propia banda de rock industrial, a la que denominó Filter. El primer álbum del grupo, Short bus (1995), llegó a ser disco de platino gracias al sencillo "Hey Man Nice Shot". La historia se repetiría con el sucesor Title of record (1999), encabezado por "Take a picture". Después de lanzar Amalagamut en 2002, Patrick prefirió dedicarse a desarrollar algunos proyectos secundarios como The Damning Well y Army of Anyone. Tras una pausa de seis años, Filter regresó en 2008 con Anthems of the damned, seguido por The trouble with angels (2010), The sun comes out tonight (2013) y Crazy eyes (2016).
