I was absolutely captivated by this womans voice and the lyrical content in each song.
The quality of the production and recording is totally a 10 on my radar charts.
Yes, I am going to buy this album for sure.
After you hear a few minutes of each song you will have no other choice but to do as I have done. It is indeed a work of art and I deem it to be beautiful.

An Unexpected Steve Morse Project

Okay--I'm obviously half a year or more behind. Not even word of Steve Morse makes its way to the Northwest, much less an appearance by the man. So I didn't realize that a newly-constructed Steve Morse has been featuring a female vocalist. A vocalist?? Yes, and thankfully she treads lightly and brings the perfect voice for Morse's remarkable classically-inflected melodies and flawless acoustic picking. Those who love Morse for his metal chops will probably find little to bang their heads against. Those who, like me (frankly), think that "Night Meets Light" is one of the most satisfying compositions ever to come out of what Morse calls "chamber rock" music...those who love the melodies that sound familiar yet have never been heard before...those who find something at once challenging and soothing in this quieter work by Steve Morse will all rejoice at this set. And find much to appreciate in Sarah Spenser's voice and song-writing as well. This may not prove to be the standout CD of 2010 for me, but it will doubtless spend as much playing time on my CD turntable as any and become a major soundtrack for my life.

A Perfect Album

Steve Morse fan here for over 25 years. Angelfire is simply one of the most uplifting and inspirational albums I have ever heard. Call me sentimental, but it touches the heart and captivates the soul.
