Ride

Ride

Motor Sister are an all-star band that originally formed to celebrate the ‘90s blues rockers Mother Superior, which recorded eight albums between 1993 and 2011 and once served as Henry Rollins’ backing band. Singer Pearl Aday (wife of Anthrax’s Scott Ian) had been working with Mother Superior frontman Jim Wilson; for Ian’s 50th birthday party, the Motor Sister lineup was born. The final band consists of Wilson, Ian, Aday, Joey Vera (Fates Warning, Armored Saint), and John Tempesta (White Zombie) riffing through 12 Mother Superior covers on this debut album. Recorded in two days by producer Jay Ruston (Anthrax), Ride rocks hard.
