Classic rock is alive and well in Sweden thanks to Dead Lord. Led by vocalist-guitarist Hakim Krim, the band’s third album sees them cranking up the Thin Lizzy-style guitar harmonies on power grooves “Too Late” and “The Glitch” while offsetting their hooky hard rock with softer ballads like “Leave Me Be” and “Part of Me.” Elsewhere, melodic anthems “Never Die” and “Kill Them All” soar with stellar backup vocals before the album closes with a thunderous cover of Motörhead’s “Stone Dead Forever.”
