Starting out in the grunge-friendly Chicago area, vocalist/guitarist Scott Lucas and drummer Joe Daniels ditched the bassist idea, electing to carry on as a hard-rocking two-piece. Best known for the 1996 radio smash, "Bound for the Floor", Local H craft rock anthems that are heavy on the crunch, rip-roaring power chords and tear-the-roof-off riffs indebted to both indie and classic rock. Though plagued by bouts of musical chairs behind the drum kit, Local H boast a significant cult following and are renowned for their high-energy gigs.
