Or maybe you want to hear that song that’s been stuck in your head—even if you can’t remember the name: “Hey Siri, play the new song by Ed Sheeran.” If you’re curious what other people are listening to, ask Siri to “play the top songs by Drake”. Or if you want to dig a little deeper, ask, “Hey Siri, play music like Beyoncé,” to hear music from similar artists. Maybe you’ll even discover a new favourite along the way.

Of course Siri can play pop, rock and country, but you can also play thousands of other genres—almost anything you can think of. Try asking Siri to “play French rap” or “play K-pop”. You can even ask to hear music from your favourite decade: “Hey Siri, play ’80s dance music” or “play ’90s rock.” The combinations are practically endless.

Siri knows all your favourite albums—but did you know how many different ways you can ask for them?
