Octavio Cuadras

Octavio Cuadras is a Regional Mexican singer and songwriter from Sinaloa. Dissatisfied with the violent and narco-related undertones of the corridos tumbados, the ruling Regional Mexican genre of the 2020s, Cuadras decided to come up with a new, more uplifting, dance-and-party-oriented style, which he branded corridos felices. The response on social media was overwhelmingly positive, and in 2024 Cuadras had a massive hit with one of his first singles, "Bling Bling" featuring Grupo Marca Registrada. He also released his first EP, Corridos Felices, followed by a deluxe edition that turned it into a full-length and the live album Pa' Andar Happy (En Vivo).
