Medeski, Martin & Wood, Friday Afternoon In the Universe Rage Against the Machine, Rage Against the Machine The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland These three albums shaped the way I heard music and the way I would come to understand it. I heard all of them for the first time in 1994/1995 (15 years old) when I was really coming into my own as a guitarist. Still listen to the albums regularly. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Down to You” I had just written this song when I injured my hand in 2008. I never wrote down or recordedthe song, and becasue of the injury it would be over a year before I got to try to play it again. I somehow remebered all of it, and eventually recorded it! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to play The Music Fest in Steamboat, Colorado. That was my first large scale music festival like that, and it was so much fun. What an electric atmosphere!!
