With their sunny harmonies, beaming smiles and colourful outfits, the members of CAIN preach a gospel that’s upbeat and infectious. It’s a spiritual outlook shaped by their childhood years in Alabama. Siblings Taylor, Madison and Logan spent their youth learning the message of Jesus Christ from their father, a local pastor, while hosting vibrant worship sing-alongs in the family home. Turning professional in the early 2010s, the trio settled in Nashville and, after the requisite string of successes and setbacks, penned their first CCM smash: 2020s “Rise Up (Lazarus)”. The anthem placed the siblings among an emerging crop of Christian artists like We The Kingdom and Anne Wilson marrying the stirring choruses of praise and worship with country’s rural feel. CAIN finally made it—but as the release of the traditional-sounding Honest Offering EP in 2023 proves, it’s a success firmly planted in faith, family and church.
