In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Performing "Jump" by Kriss Kross with my cousin on Christmas Day, for our applauding family. I was 4 years old. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kanye West, The College Dropout Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill These albums sound like the artists left everything on the court. I appreciate all the effort and attention to detail. These are my favourite albums of all time. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Separate the Rams” This song showcases how my mind works as a writer. I am often thinking about the traits that make up who I am. This song speaks to the characteristics that I inherited and how I navigate this world with attributes that aren't necessarily my own. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing in France with my band, The BETR Gang in 2018. This was the first time I was able to see how my music translates and is received in a different part of the world. This was an eye opener as we saw, first hand, how universal our music is. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? In 2018, I released an album called "Tour Dates" with my band, "The BETR Gang". I still would like to travel the world, performing our music our a tour circuit.
