In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting in front of a radio listening to songs & recording my favorites. We lived in Shuwaikh, Kuwait before the Gulf War on Kuwait University campus. I have fond memories of lazing around waiting for inspiration to strike. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Muse, Origin of Symmetry The Smashing Pumpkins, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness Turnstile, TURNSTILE LOVE CONNECTION - EP Turnstile's EP is absolute fire. We love the cinematic videos for all the bangers on this one. 90's era rock is a huge inspiration to us! This includes rock bands from US, UK and other parts of the world (e.g. Japan. S. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chub (Akh End Credits Version)” Drawing heavily on a script by indie Kuwaiti filmmaker Ahmad M. Hamada, this song was written as an End Credits song for his debut feature film titled AKH. This track is special as it marks the band's entry into a new era in Seattle. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at Mississippi Studios in Portland, filming the music video for Lost Empire, recording at Temple of the Trees studio (Normandy Park, WA). Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Play Vancouver! Pitch ourselves to Sub Pop, KEXP, etc.
