Balancing classical and jazz training with an Afrofuturist perspective, singer-songwriter Zoë Modiga creates soundtracks that detail a modern, evolving African story and honour its origins. Describing the magic of her generation, she tells Apple Music: “We are resilient and they call us brave, as we actualise our gods’ and ancestors’ wildest thoughts.
