Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan started his music career as lead singer in Pakistani rock band Fuzon. Shankar Mahadevan was the one responsible for bringing the Government College University graduate to Bollywood, after hearing one of his songs on the radio. Khan then hit gold when he sang “Mitwa” from the blockbuster Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. He was also responsible for the singing featured in “Yeh Honsla” from Dor and “Dildaara” from Ra.One.
