Colombian singer/songwriter Fonseca discovered music as a young teen, which led him to music school in Boston. He returned home to Colombia to pursue music fulltime, and it paid off. His self-titled 2002 major-label debut is filled with graceful vocal melodies and romantic dedications, and it's all wrapped in a piquant mix of Latin pop, Colombian folk and tropical tones. His ensuing albums actually improved on that groundwork. Fonseca has earned numerous Latin GRAMMYS® and many hits on Latin charts around the world. He also engages in many humanitarian efforts at home.
