In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Opening for Bernie Sanders at his Presidential campaign rally was the culmination of years writing and performing music for social and environmental justice x transformation in the streets of the Bay Area. He danced and sang with us after his speech. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Rising Appalachia, Leylines Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life Stevie taught us so much about songwriting, about music for social justice, and about love. Rising Appalachia are just amazing people, friends and inspiration for us. Lauryn is the queen, and love the harmonies on this album! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We covered MaMuse's "We Shall be Known" as one of our first live YouTube videos, which quickly went viral as a social justice anthem. Upon seeing our video, MaMuse asked us to record with them. The song has more than 1 million streams!
