About Ron Browz

Harlem-born and bred, the producer MC/known as Ron Browz reportedly first set foot in a studio after encouragement from the late Big L. Ron’s first production credits came on Big L’s posthumous second album, THE BIG PICTURE, in 2000. The following year, his status rose when he laid down the beats for Nas’s “Ether,” the famed Jay-Z diss track. In the early 2000s, Browz provided tracks for the likes of DMX, Ludacris, and G-Unit, founding his own label, EtherBoy. In 2008, he released a compilation album, THE WONDER YEARS, featuring a host of East Coast MCs as well as Browz himself on the mic.
