In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Performing at the Kashmir Klub for the first time was magical. One of the first songwriting showcases where I felt that my dream as a composer came to life. Barbra Streisand, Yentl Mariah Carey, Mariah Carey: Greatest Hits Whitney Houston, Whitney Houston These are the artists that brought my visionary to life. I would record Billboard charts with sellotape over the bit on the cassette that protected it from being recorded over, replaying these artists' songs over and over until I knew them backwards!
