About Jullian Gomes
South Africa’s Jullian Gomes specialises in intricate deep house tunes that take cues from various genres like R&B, pop and soul. After discovering his love for music at the age of eight, the Pretoria native teamed up with his cousin Michael G to form the duo, G.Family. From there, he caught the attention of major electronic music labels and artists including Atjazz, with whom he released 2014’s The Gift the Curse and the downtempo-filled Big Bad Crazy. “I really try to dive deep into the music,” he told Apple Music. “I'm trying to always push the boundaries.” On his solo debut, 2016’s Late Dreamer, the ever-evolving DJ and producer explored uplifting, soulful and techy house. After 2019's lively Slow Poisoned, Gomes released a gloomier, stripped-down version titled Poisoned—a testament to his dynamic, meticulous prowess.
