In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a child of probably 3 or 4 I used to play piano at my grandmother on a beautiful old upright. I would play slowly and listen to what sounded good rather than bang on the keys as most kids my age would. I knew already music was for me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Post Malone, Stoney (Complete Edition) Stormzy, Heavy Is The Head The Weeknd, After Hours (Deluxe) All of these albums represent a time in my life where music saved me from myself and taught me to be stronger than I ever thought I could be. Tell us why you chose this song. “Power” This record is a song I made for my grandfather after he passed away in 2011. It's a song about listening to those voices of those who came before to reach the goals you set in the future. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Sitting in the studio with Mr Eazi a couple months after being nominated for a South African Music Award. Watching him work was an eye opener to not only what is possible but in my own case what is to come. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To get a Grammy for my country, to play Glastonbury main stage, to have my own world tour.
