In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first musical memory is requesting Abba every morning on the drive to preschool. I think "Dancing Queen" was the first song I ever knew the words to, and probably the first song I ever loved. That's the first attachment to music I remember. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Florence + the Machine, Dance Fever Talking Heads, Speaking In Tongues Taylor Swift, Red (Taylor’s Version) [+ A Message From Taylor] Red one was one of the first albums to inspire me as a songwriter. Dance Fever was my favorite album to come out in 2022. It quickly turned in to an all-time fave. Speaking in Tongues is a classic and my go to in any social situation. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dream About a Cowboy” The first song that made me think I was capable of making an album! This song also was the first single to that album, a project I did over a gap year between high school and college. I'm so proud of what we were able to create with this song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing Des Moines music festival, 80/35! My favorite show I've ever played. We had a spot on a youth-oriented stage and played right before Portugal. The Man. Such a happy memory. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Going on tour, playing Hinterland festival, winning an award for my music in some capacity.
