It would have to be me being about 5 or 6 years old leaning to play the piano with my music instructor, my parents did a bang up job getting me into music world early. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burna Boy, Twice as Tall Maroon 5, JORDI (Deluxe) Martin Garrix, Bylaw - EP These albums have a lot of message and intention behind them. That's very important for me as well as finding a sonically good way to pass a message or emotion across to my audience. Tell us why you chose this song. “Competent Enough” This record I believe has been my most intention to date, it talks about me being in the shadow of my superstar mum and all that comes with it. It raw, it's electric and best of all it's sonically a bridge between afro-pop and rock. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting my first ever nomination at an award with other industry professionals in my category. I didn't win but being recognized and put on the same table with these people I looked up to felt really good. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's a lot, I'm still in the early phases of my career so there's a lot to accomplish.
