About Ben Burgess

A contemporary country singer with a commanding voice and world-weary delivery, Ben Burgess started his career in music as a songwriter, earning credit on Jonas Brothers' "Chillin' in the Summertime" in 2010 before contributing to hits ranging from Martin Garrix and Troye Sivan's "There for You" to Morgan Wallen's "Whiskey Glasses" and Tyler Rich's "The Difference" by the late 2010s. Although he had previously self-released his own material, Burgess made his official full-length label debut as a solo artist with Tears the Size of Texas in 2022. Released when he was 37, it was partly inspired by classic cowboy records and Western films.
