I remember making my whole family laugh trying to mimic the Nigerian gospel legend's moves and sing along to his fast paced, yoruba-filled renditions. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Michael Jackson, XSCAPE (Deluxe) Wande Coal, Mushin 2 Mo' Hits Wizkid, Made In Lagos While "Mushin 2 Mo'hits" is to me the blueprint for modern Afro Pop, "Made In Lagos" is the most innovative and complete afrobeats project EVER. Tell us why you chose this song. “FeeL Too MucH” i wrote this song at a time in my life where i was trying to take my creativity to a different level. The pain and heartbreak i was feeling at the time fueled the lyricism behind the track. Ialso wanted to do a stylish and emotion-filled R&B number. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Doing my first official showcase perfomance in Lagos, Nigeria. December 2022 was one to remember for me. For the first time, i felt unhinged love from my Nigerian fanbase after not being back in the country for over 3 years. It's a moment i'll recall Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Many things. I want to win awards, sell out festivals, create and help new artists, touch all countries around the world with my music, break records and become a legend. I'm really big of being a legend.
