About 3Fifs

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad was a DJ, and my parents had me young, so I remember visiting my dad in college where he was DJing a party. He showed me a music video he was in, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I've been in love with rap ever since. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Big Punisher, Capital Punishment Dr. Dre, The Chronic N.W.A, Straight Outta Compton My parents didn't let me listen to music with a "parental advisory" sticker as a kid, so once I got a car, the first album I bought was "Straight Outta Compton." "The Chronic" is my favorite album all-time, and "Capital Punishment" ain't far behind. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dive in Deep (feat. Lydia Lyon)” This is the first song I ever recorded and the first song I did with my sister. My sister was given up for adoption when I was 3, so being able to link back up with her and reconnect through music makes this song forever special to me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? After I released "Birth of a Nation," I was one of 14 US-born artists chosen to perform at the Canadian Music Week Festival. I performed at the Hard Rock Cafe in Yonge-Dundas Square with my dawgs SharpShoota and GP. It was an epic moment. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yea, a whole lot. I still need to see the world and get invited to Drink Champs.
