Though her debut album Thankful was massively successful, it was on the 2004 follow-up Breakaway that she really began to reveal her true potential. Moving away from the R&B-inflected sound of her first record, she produced an album of anthemic and driving guitar-based songs—still a must-have record for pop fans the world over.
