Thai indie-dance band Slur come equipped with the too-cool-for-school attitude of their Western contemporaries. Formed in 2005 after listening to The Strokes, Slur bring distinct American and British influences to songs like "Barking Dog" and "Rock Shit", which echo '90s Britpop. Meanwhile, the band's punk leanings burn through the energetic and controversial track "Hitler". Elsewhere, the shimmering electronic pop of "Or" shows a softer side to one of Thailand's most rocking bands.
