Seu Jorge: Influences

Seu Jorge: Influences

A truly international artist, Seu Jorge regularly draws from Brazil, Africa, the U.S. and Europe. In his music, jazz icon Roy Ayers, Serge Gainsbourg, Kraftwerk, Stevie Wonder and David Bowie sit comfortably next to '70s MPB stars like Edú Lobo and Jorge Ben Jor. Throughout his career, Seu Jorge has proudly shown his ties to the old guard samba schools of Rio, bringing them to a global audience.
