Thai band Scrubb possess a quiet charm that comes through in their pointillistic guitar riffs and funk-leaning rhythm section, and their hidden gems flesh out even more of the group's varied tastes. The smooth vocals and jazz touches are still there, but so is a whirlwind of electrified folk, throwback college rock balladry and mathy syncopation ready for willing ears.
