After touring Bach's Double Violin Concerto in 1998 at just 10 years of age, Scottish violinist Nicola Benedetti went on to play with some of the UK's greatest ensembles. She found a perfect fit with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, where she gave profoundly lyrical renditions of Bruch's Scottish Fantasy and the traditional Scottish song “Ae Fond Kiss”. Her incredible stamina and technical skill come through in her Tchaikovsky (Violin Concerto) and her spectacular Tartini (Sonata in G Minor); her powerfully sentimental side shines in her reading of the Schindler's List theme.
