Manizha Essentials

Manizha channels both the austere poetry of the windswept landscapes found in her birthplace, Tajikistan, and the cosmopolitanism of Moscow, where she grew up. Starting off by making short videos on Instagram, Manizha's fame skyrocketed quickly, her danceable, animated beats and stirring voice conjuring the stadium-sized sound of Sia or Adele with the added eclectic creativity of Billie Eilish. Power pop classic "Don't Tell Me" and her feature on Boogrov's "Africa" led to her mainstream popularity, but she still produces music videos that explore her signature funky, avant-garde style.
